We’ve got you.
Everything you need to know about nominations, judging, voting and the LoveNUL Business Awards evening.
Who can be nominated?
Businesses, individuals, teams, traders and organisations based in Newcastle-under-Lyme can be nominated, depending on the award category selected.
Can I nominate my own business or myself?
Yes. Self-nominations are welcome and are considered in exactly the same way as every other nomination.
Can I nominate someone in more than one category?
Yes, if they genuinely meet the criteria for each category. Please submit a separate nomination and tailor the supporting statement to the relevant award.
Does receiving more nominations improve the chance of being shortlisted?
No. The judging panel considers the strength of the information provided, not the number of nominations received.
One detailed supporting statement is more useful than multiple duplicate nominations.
How are finalists chosen?
On Thursday 3rd September, a panel made up of the Newcastle-under-Lyme BID Board & Team and awards sponsors will review eligible nominations against the award criteria and agree the shortlist.
